January22-24, Professor Fusae Abbot and Mr. Ted Curran from Samuel Merritt University visited University of Kochi and delivered a series of lectures and consultation sessions on curriculum development and use of technology in building curriculum.

During their three day visit in January 22-24, 2013. Prof. Kondo and Mr. Curran demonstrated how they run e-learning courses which are integral parts of nursing curriculum at Samuel Merritt University in California, U.S.A. They discussed pros and cons of online programs, gave tips on incorporating technological tools in teaching, and provided useful insights into creating a well-coordinated and effective curriculum.
