Educational Goals

In accordance with the spirit of the Basic Act on Education, University of Kochi aims to provide a broad range of knowledge, teach and research specialized arts and sciences, and develop character. In addition, the University strives to cultivate women who are able to contribute to the development of peace and culture and the promotion of welfare, thereby contributing to the improvement of the local community.
While respecting the tradition of contributing to the education of women consistently for 50 years,
the University will implement qualitative reforms that respond to the demands of the new era. Looking forward through the 21st century,
the University will place emphasis on the following education as a university that will move forward as a site for education and culture, together with the region.
