Disaster Nursing

The program aims to develop human resources who can contribute to the advancement of human security by pursuing the depth o disaster nursing based on interdisciplinary, international, and global perspectives with rich and advanced nursing expertise. This is Japan's first joint graduate school education program among national, public, and private institutions, witrh the University of Kochi serving as the applicant university, and the University of Hyogo, Chiba University, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and the Japanese Red Cross College of Nursing. Each univesity is connected by ICT, and in addition to common classes at the five universities and seminer courses at various venues, including overseas, the program actively promotes overseas fieldwork and research presentations at international conferences. Upon completion of five years of study, students will be awarded the degree of Doctor of Nursing Science (with the inscription "Disaster Nursing Global Learder" on the degree certificate).
